In May of 2023, the 5th and 6th graders hosted a Bartering Event to benefit Food Gatherers.  

5th and 6th graders worked alone or in small groups to design a good or service to barter for donations to Food Gatherers.  Students from other grades brought in donations on the day of the benefit and bartered those goods for the products that have been created.  5/6 students had booths set up on May 26, and students from other classes had the opportunity to barter their donations for the products that were created.
