Thank you for visiting the Wines School website and for visiting my page! 

I have been the Wines principal since 2010. Prior to that I was the principal at Ealy Elementary in the West Bloomfield School District. I am a product of the Ann Arbor Public Schools. I graduated from Pioneer High School in 1991. Before that I was a student at Forsythe, and I was an elementary student right here at Wines! So in many ways, I have been part of the Wines community my whole life. 

My teaching career began in 1995 in the St. Vrain Valley School District in Longmont, Colorado just north of Boulder. I moved to Boulder after finishing my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. In 2000, my wife Trish and I moved back to Ann Arbor where we both began graduate school. I completed my Masters Degree in 2002 and my Ph.D. in 2004. 

My family includes Trish, our twin sons, Nico and Lucas, and our two dogs Wagner and Piper. We clearly like dogs and spend lots of time outdoors as a family and with the dogs. Trish and I are also avid Scuba Divers and have visited many great places to explore the under water life.
