My name is Nicole Hong and I will have the privilege of teaching and learning here at King Elementary!

Here is a little bit about me. My passions in life are teaching, especially reading, and working with young children. I have my Bachelors degree from MSU -GO GREEN! in Family Community Services with an emphasis on young children. After MSU, I completed my teaching certification from EMU. I joined the King family in 2014 and I’ve taught first grade and kindergarten here. Before joining the team at King, I also taught at a local charter school  in Ann Arbor and I've also taught preschool for a number of years before teaching elementary school.

I'm proud to say that both of my own children, Serafina (10) and Xavier (8) are King Kids too! I am always busy taking them to all their after-school activities. We enjoy going to parks, being outside walking or hiking, and checking out any library out there. If I am not with my kids or my husband, you'll probably find me running. I also enjoy listening to audio books, reading and baking.
